The 4 Moving Averages (4 MA’s) MT4 signal indicator follows the best buy/sell trends for any currency pair and chart.
The 4 MA’s Forex indicator is composed of colored bars that appear in a sub window below the main activity chart.
It uses yellow, red and green bars.
The bar color depends on the trend across the 4 moving averages:
- A green buy bar occurs when all 4 MA’s trends are all aligned up.
- A red buy bar occurs when all 4 MA’s trends are all aligned down.
- A yellow “no trend” bar occurs when the 4 MA’s trends are mixed.
Feel free to experiment with the different 4 Moving Averages periods.

Below is an example of how to buy and sell currency pairs with this Forex indicator:
Buy Trigger: Buy the Forex pair when the 4 Moving Averages Signal MT4 indicator draws the FIRST green bar.
Place a stop loss 3 pips below previous swing low support, or use your own stop loss strategy.
Aim for reward/risk 2:1 ratio or better, or deploy your own take profit strategy.
Sell Trigger: Sell the Forex pair when the 4 Moving Averages Signal MT4 indicator draws the FIRST red bar.
Place a stop loss 3 pips above previous swing high resistance, or use your own stop loss strategy.
Aim for reward/risk 2:1 ratio or better, or deploy your own take profit strategy.
Yellow bars: don’t open a new trade. You can stick with your current open position.
